Junction Repairs

Junction repairs often require specialist knowledge and equipment to repair effectively, as joins may be in a more difficult place to fully apply the curing resin for a guaranteed seal.

Even these tricky jobs are routine for the team at Pipe Spy, who have decades of experience fixing splits, cracks and holes in pipe junctions. We can perform junction repairs on a range of pipe sizes, from as narrow as 80mm wide to larger pipes with diameters of 450mm.

We can perform a number of different junction fixes, including Y junctions, T junctions, top hats and other types of connections and joins. Junction repairs are performed in a similar way to patch repairs but tend to have a more complex shape as one pipe needs to be joined to another with a watertight seal.

We can also apply top hat patches, which seal over the connection from the connecting pipe to the host pipe. This provides a firm and sturdy fix on the junction to prevent further cracking, splitting or wear and tear.

For cracked or warped seals, we can re-join the connecting pipes to the host pipe and fix the seal to keep the connection in line and prevent leakage into the ground. We do this by first cutting out a hole with our modern and innovative robotic cutter technology, before adding a relining seal.

We can repair pipes with diameters as narrow as 40mm to larger pipes with diameters of 1.5m.
