UV lining

We use UV light technology to maintain complete control over every stage of the resin curing process, ensuring a perfect fix and seamless seal every time.

Using light technology for maximum control on every pipe repair

UV lining is used for pit-to-pit lining and uses UV light to cure the resin infused GRP liner, resulting in a fix that is up to 10 times stronger than simple epoxy felt liner. The normal style of relining comes with time restrictions. Once the process has begun as the resin will begin to set and cure immediately once it is applied.

Therefore, the reline sleeve must be inserted quickly into place before the resin sets too much, putting unnecessary pressure on the pipe repairers.

Complete control with UV light

UV relining, however, offers more time to adjust the relining sleeve and set it in place over the damaged section of the pipe, before UV lights are used to activate the curing process.

With our modern sensor technology, we can monitor the temperature and pressure of the lining to ensure a firm, even and solid bond.

Our UV lining materials are manufactured in a controlled factory environment and are subjected to stringent quality control, providing a much more stable and reliable product than one mixed on-site by a contractor.

Repairing to the council standard

We use IMPREG liner GL16, which is specially formulated to seal pipes with diameters ranging from 150mm to 2000mm and comes with a 100-year design life expectancy.

This quality of repair product is important and preferred by councils but not all pipe repair companies can provide this level of product reassurance.
